Pahlish Force of Nature Collection Review

Hello My loves I know it's been a few weeks but I just wanted to say I'm back and I have a gorgeous collection to share with you today! This is one of Pahlish's latest Collections and it can be found in their Etsy store

Shake the Rust
I admit seeing this one in the bottle there wasn't much excitement for me. However once I put it on I couldn't stop wanting a yummy strawberry milkshake. This color really redeemed itself for me because it made me drool over the idea of food. I know it's odd since milkshake is not something you'd relate to "rusty" micro glitter flake. Can you believe I still haven't gotten a milkshake hah I think I need to remedy that today!! the formula is nice and opaque 2 coats is all you need.

Move Slow and Steady
Very similar to the pink above but it's the purple version. While I liked Shake the rust I think the micro glitter flakes look better in this purple base. I suppose I feel the way since well I'm a purple fan but I think the contract is very nice, looks like little fire embers in the polish. I did want to say that there was also a tiny mix of red micro glitters in this one while the pink only had the copper ones.

Pet Dragonfly
This is similar to the two above in that it's full of those micro glitter flakes and then there's the addition of the navy glitter squares and hex pieces. My favorite thing about this polish is the almost not noticeable shimmer. In fact looking at my pictures you don't really see it since it was hard to capture but there is just the slightest hint of it on the nail and it was so pretty. I do like how delicate this polish is comes off even thought it's got so many interesting components to it.

Sea Said Goodbye
In person this polish is a little lighter for some reason my camera over saturated the color but not by much, it's still a vibrant shade. This is another one like Pet dragonfly in that while simple looking there's a lot behind the scenes. I can't get over the amazing  micro glass flecks throughout this polish. They played so well with the green glitters! Almost gave it that moving water look.

Mountain Sound
This polish jumped out at me the most from this whole collection. Wow! What a color, Pahlish labels this one as a Chartreuse Cream and I'm not sure I'd quite label it as Chartreuse since It's a little too yellowish but it could be put in that column. To me it's more of a ground mustard color. I like this polish because the color is so unique. I can't say I have anything like this and while I don't feel it's a flattering color for my skin tone I don't care It's too lovely to ignore and pass by. This one also has those micro glitter flecks but they are gold and really enhance this color even further.

My final thoughts about the collection:
Well honesty at first I felt a little let down since when I think of Pahlish I think of crazy glitter bombs. But I let the polishes speak for themselves and they cheered me up. Sometimes it's good to step out of that comfort zone and do something different. These polishes while not as "exciting" as complex glitters were very unique and refreshing in their own right. There was a lot going on in an underlying way. The simplicity of these spoke louder to me than anything. These for sure are worth a second look!
The formula on these were nice and smooth there was one issue I found that is worth mentioning. In most of these every now and then I'd get a "color bubble" on the brush and when painting the color would drag on the nail, I suppose it's from the pigments not being mixed all the way through. It was no major deal and was easy to fix either drag it all out onto the nail or just paint over it.

What are your thoughts after seeing this collection?
