K is for Katherine!!
I know I've been a little MIA on the blog for the past few days but I assure you I have a very good reason for that and very soon I'll be back up and running in full speed. So for the letter K there can't be anything better for me to pick than something that shares the same name as me so this was a no brainer. I bought Zoya Katherine months ago in fact the last picture is a result of me not being able to wait to wear it when it came in the mail. I layered it over Different Dimension's Right to Vote. Back then I had little short nails... So it's taken me a few months to wear it on it's own and that's okay because I think this color makes my long nails look pretty killer!
This polish really isn't meant to be worn on it's own, it's very sheer and it's more of a layering polish. I honestly don't know how many coats I used but I just know I kept going back and adding more to build it up. To my Surprise it actually dried without the help of a top coat and it was super squishy! At first when I saw this polish it wasn't love at first sight and I had higher hopes for a Zoya that shares my name but in the end I've learned to love it. It has a lot of potential and an amazing formula for a jelly!
Oh this is pretty! It's nice to see you can build it up to make it opaque
ReplyDeletelove this colour so much <3
ReplyDeleteThe polish looks lovely and your manicure is super shiny! Looks much better on your long nails :)
ReplyDeleteOoo I love this color! So squishy!
ReplyDeleteWell you aren't kidding when you say killer! It looks like you've dripped your nails in blood! I hope it doesn't sound too weird!
ReplyDeletelovely color on you, perfectly applied. doesn't look half as lovely on me.
ReplyDeleteSuch a stunner!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love it when jellies are built up like that. There's just such an amazing depth and squishiness to them.
ReplyDeleteGreat color!
ReplyDeleteNo that's a jellie!! I love both manis!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will think that I'm completely crazy, but this polish seems a sheerer and jelly version of Chanel Rouge Noir. :D
ReplyDeleteI still haven;t tried mine out. I used the teal one of the trio and wasn't impressed with the formula so I kind of just left the rest alone. I think I may need to give it a try since you made it look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove this Jelly so much. I dont own much Jellies so this one is going on my wishlist :D Great mani girl!
