Happy Hands Egg Hunt

I will make this super quick, since I need to get my butt in the shower ASAP and get to bed. I had a good Easter weekend. I slept in and then woke up in the afternoon and then went over and worked on the one day to be house. I spent a few hours filling nail gun holes with wood filler putty on the trim around the new windows... fun fun fun! Came home and had some Ham that David's mother cooked for us. Such lazy and productive day. I know not a very Easter like Sunday. So onto the the polish. This is such a fun glitter! I wore it over OPI Honey Ryder. I don't know what it is about round glitter but I'm obsessed with it. Happy Hands really hit a home run with this polish! Full of win! It really looks like little eggs hidden in the grass! Tell me what you ended up doing on Easter.

Painted Sabotage Gargle Blaster

Today I've got a look at a brand that many of you may not have heard of yet. I don't think that's going to last for long. So far my experience with this brand has been nothing but positive. It's made by a fellow polish lover and there is no detail that's overlooked.

Everything about Gargle Blaster appeals to me. From the name being a reference to The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, to the amazing color combo! This polish just pops! The base is very sheer and at first when I did the first coat I wasn't sure how the end result would look like but after about 4 coats it turned into this crazy full of depth manicure. I was really blown away at how awesome this polish is. I also really liked the subtle green shimmer in the base that really complimented the minty color. I honestly can't say I had any issues with this. The formula is amazing and the end result is dreamy! The perfect layered jelly manicure in a bottle!

Guest Post: Tribal Nail Art Tutorial

Hey guys today I have a little something different. Chetana From shows you a simple funky and impressive Tribal Print and shows you how you can do it yourself!

Simple Bright Green Tribal Nail Art Tutorial

Tribal nail arts are very much in trend this year and they look very cool and pretty. You can create any tribal look by drawing lines horizontally or vertically. You can also play with many colors to get the right effect. Here I will be showing you how to create a very easy tribal look using a mere black nail art pen.
Things you will need:

  • Bright green nail paint (I used faces matte mitzi green)
  • Black nail art pen.
  • Matte top coat (I prefer matte look you can use ordinary look too)
  • Base coat

  1. Apply your basecoat and paint your nails with your bright green nail paint.
  2. Now add two parallel lines using your nail art pen as shown in the picture below.
  3. Now draw a zig zag line in between the lines as shown in the picture.
  4. Draw few slanting lines as shown in the picture.
  5. Fill the black color in between the slanting lines so that you can get the following pattern.
  6. Add matte top coat and you are done.
Hope you like this design. Do forget to visit StyleCraze for more such amazing nail art designs.

Lynnderella Sleepy Holo, ABC Challenge L

L is for Lynnderella!

It did not take me long to pick what I was going to do for this week's ABC Challenge. It had to be a Lynnderella!  This post may look weird to you and if you caught it then I'm proud of you... This is an older post back when the nails were squared. I wore this what must be months ago. I'm not sure why I haven't post it till now, oh wait yes I do know... Perhaps because I took 88 photos of this one and every time I thought about sitting there editing them it make me cringe. Well I finally went through all my pictures and I think you'll be happy with the result! I bought this forever ago, It's a Limited Edition and therefore will be a little difficult to purchase. For that I am sorry, I usually don't like parading hard to gets but lately it seems like more HTF are popping up everywhere. I really don't have anything to say about this polish because it speaks for itself.  <3>

Manglaze Matte is Murder

The matte black with shiny tips was a reader request. This is something I normally would not do. With the longer nails I tend to stay away from doing a "french tip." Is it still called a french tip if it's not the traditional white? Anyway I'm very happy I did this look because it was so elegant and funky as the same time. It reminds me of mary jane shoes! I had no issues with the polish. Manglaze in my opinion has created some of the best mattes out there. I painted them black and then took my top coat and I first drew the smile line with the clear coat using a nail art brush and then I went in and brushed on the rest of the clear. I did it that way so I could try to get the lines looking super crisp and clean.  I did throw in one picture of the Matte is Murder by itself. I like how it's not just a regular flat black it has a nice shimmer in it. I think It's time I write Manglaze a Love Letter because everyone of their polishes I've worn has impressed me..... Too bad I'm too lazy to follow through, sorry Manglaze. Regardless if you don't own any of these Badass Mattes you better change that!

Lumina Lacquer Spring in Iceland

You can't tell from my pictures but this glitter sits in a purple tinted base and it's such eye candy to look at. I couldn't help myself after seeing the bottle shots I had to buy it. When it arrived I couldn't wait to put it on. Lucky me I was wearing OPI Eurso Euro. Needless to say these two played very well together. There is so much win going on with this manicure. In Fact looking at these pictures is making me go through a sensory overload! Me No Can Write No Good...... Droooolll! Okay Brain has reset, I'm back to normal.

Here's a link to Lumina Lacquer Shop. Last I checked this was sold out but she's got lots more eye candy there and restocks every few weeks. I've loved every single Lumina I've ever bought so I really recommend this brand!

Zoya Katherine , ABC Challenge K

K is for Katherine!!

I know I've been a little MIA on the blog for the past few days but I assure you I have a very good reason for that and very soon I'll be back up and running in full speed. So for the letter K there can't be anything better for me to pick than something that shares the same name as me so this was a no brainer. I bought Zoya Katherine months ago in fact the last picture is a result of me not being able to wait to wear it when it came in the mail. I layered it over Different Dimension's Right to Vote. Back then I had little short nails... So it's taken me a few months to wear it on it's own and that's okay because I think this color makes my long nails look pretty killer!
This polish really isn't meant to be worn on it's own, it's very sheer and it's more of a layering polish. I honestly don't know how many coats I used but I just know I kept going back and adding more to build it up. To my Surprise it actually dried without the help of a top coat and it was super squishy! At first when I saw this polish it wasn't love at first sight and I had higher hopes for a Zoya that shares my name but in the end I've learned to love it. It has a lot of potential and an amazing formula for a jelly!

Zoya PixieDust Quick Nail Art

From Left to Right:  Dahlia & Chyna, Vespa & NYX, and Godiva & London

Products were provided for review.

While swatching these I noticed that they worked well with each other and in between swatches I combined them for some interesting looks. I had a few tell me that the Godiva/London combo reminded them of the moon so in the last picture I added some craters to the moon. Overall I had a lot of fun combing these and they all just really worked well together!   More pictures after the Jump.

Pretty Serious Liquid leprechaun

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

If this polish doesn't scream St.Patty's Day then I don't know what does!!  Lovely formula on this it was  surprisingly opaque and only required two coats. I was not expecting that. I always appreciate a well done opaque formula and this one is excellent. This glitter also has a lot of depth to it. There's nothing to complain about here.

Cult Nails I Got Distracted Ruffian Manicure

There's not much I can say about this polish other than wearing it causes Distraction just like the name implies. I layered it over the Cult Nails Fetish I had and I decided to let Fetish peek over the top and I kept it in it's matte form. This combo really hit the spot and looked killer! I'm still surprised I was able to apply it so cleanly while I was at work... It seems like lately I do my best paint jobs while at work.
If you own  I got distracted and haven't worn it yet it's time to take it out!
