F is for Fire Flower
This is one of my most prized nail polishes in my collection, The reason why is because Lynnderella herself made this for me, well for my mom. It's ironic how it's special to me yet the colors just aren't my cup of tea. I do like red but I'm just not a fan of the whole red orange and yellow combo... It's just too hot for me, I'm more cool minded and prefer blues, purples, pinks and greens. My mom's kitchen is Orange with red and yellow accents and she's big on gardening so it screams my mother for me.. If she was a bottle of polish this is her!
Because of the color combos i've always passed on it but someone suggested I wear it over a purple and since I'm a purple fan I had to try it. I layered this over A England's Elaine, which was last weeks ABC Challenge post. In these pictures it really looks black but in person the purple did come across better.
The last picture is from November when I wore it on just my thumb over a gold. It's crazy to me to see how in just a few months my nails have grown so much! Seeing this makes me ready for summer... I'm ready for it to be warm again!!

Gorgeous! Love it!

ReplyDeleteLove this polish and the thought behind it is really special :)
ReplyDeleteOooh that looks amazing! How cool that she made this for your mom
ReplyDeleteToo bad it's not your colour, I think it looks great, summery or Fall-ish! And it looks great over purple, probably over dark shades in general :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of these colors either but it looks rather pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePositively Fan-Freakingtastic, as one would expect from the inimitable Lynderella!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
