Selena Gomez NOPI Collection Review

Today I have the Selena Gomez Collection for you guys to see. This collection is unique in that half of it is glitters. It's nice to see a collection with so much sparkle! These colors are making me wish it was spring already!! I'm ready for some warmer weather, whose with me??

Spring Break was my favorite from the whole collection. This color in person is more saturated and it really pops! No issues with the formula. Even though this is a basic creme I could not stop looking at my nails... I've heard people use the term "barbie nails" well this color made me feel like I had em! 

Stars at Night was not a big favorite of mine and I think it's because I should have worn it on it's own. It can be tough to get a very gentle even sweep of glitter over a color and I'll admit I wasn't too happy with my application. I've seen swatches of it by itself and I prefer how it looks on it's own. I think in general I prefer bar glitters worn by themselves. However The bar glitters are super holographic and it is a very fun polish if you're into the less loved bar glitters. 

Hit the Lights is Yellow.  I should end there but oddly enough for a yellow it's not so bad. Yellow tends to be a very hard color to pull off and it usually leaves me very washed out looking. This yellow has some warmth to it to where it wasn't horrible. It pretty much made my fingers glow! Formula on this one was great, went on like butter! One of the best yellows I've worn in a very long time.

Confetti Fun was my favorite glitter from the collection. While it's very similar to a lot of those "Happy Birthday" Glitters it's different in that there are several glitter sizes, most importantly super micro color glitters. This is a perfect pick me up glitter, you can't be sad looking at this one!

Pretty in Plum.... I don't really have anything to say about this one. I didn't love it and I didn't hate it. It is pretty but not very memorable for me. 

Kissed at Midnight is mostly a gold glitter mix with larger silver hex pieces mixed in. While I wasn't a big fan of Pretty in Plum by itself. After I put on this glitter It came alive and really wowed me. Because of that I wanna say that Kissed at Midnight will really make just about any color come alive. The sparkle it gives off is pretty. Who knew a rather simple glitter mix could be so stunning!! 

Selena was another favorite of mine. It has a very slight hidden shimmer in it and it's a super delicate color. I think one of the big reason why I liked it so much was the fact that it's almost spot on the same color as Starburst Strawberry candies... :) Yum!  

Inner Sparkle is a mix of light pink, purple and gold glitter. I liked this one better in the bottle than I did on the nail. Perhaps Selena was not the best color to layer it over .  I should of used Love Song(purple) but I dunno if that would have made any difference to me. Just wasn't feeling this glitter as much as some of the other glitters in the collection.

I love that Love Song is the purple in the collection. I can't say that I'm a Selena Gomez fan but I can say that Love Song is one of the only songs I know of hers and I actually enjoy it... hah I know Gasp!!  I first heard it on the radio I thought it was Ashely Simpson.... okay back to the polish. If you like purple you'll love this shade. It goes on without any Fuss and It's super creamy. A few mentioned on instagram that it looked like Illamasqua's Jo'mina but the formula is different and it's more blue based and slightly darker. I love me some purple and this one doesn't disappoint.

Sweet Dreams is a silver , purple and teal mix. It also just so happens to have both of my favorite colors purple and teal together. So naturally I love this one. Nothing bad to say about this one!

Naturally is a very nice creamy popish pink. Went on very well and it's a perfect bubble gum pink color.  Like Selena it also has a very slight shimmer to it, but it's very mute. Pink lovers will love this color! 

Heavenly Angel is gorgeous in the bottle. I'm always drawn to shredded flakies like this but I've never had any luck with them. I find them to be difficult to apply and it always seems like you gets more gloop out than flakie shards. If you don't own something similar I high recommend getting it because layered over a black this is stunning! You have to have patience for this one. If you are lucky enough and can make it though the end result is Heavenly!

Mi Fantasia I wore on it's own because it's a thicker glitter and can be easily built up for full coverage. This was around 3 coats. I'm usually not a bar glitter gal but this one had tiny green to yellow holo bars , they are super fine enough to where it was cute. Super Sparkly! 

Scarlett while it is red often leaned into a pinkish fuchsia to me and well I have to say that the fact that this color is called Scarlett it just disappointed me because this is not the color I think of when I think of Scarlett. But name aside the formula is good on this one and it's a glass fleck finish and it does have slight visible golden sheen to it.
