B is for Billet Doux!
So I sorta joined this ABC Challenge group where ever Wednesday you post a manicure based on the letter of the Alphabet. Well they started last week and so I missed the Letter A so I figured I'd just hop on board and start with the leather B. I was supposed to link all the ladies doing the challenge but since I always wait till the last minute to do everything I don't know how and I don't know the coding so please forgive me ladies I will catch on next time around...
I have to mention that last night I did reshape my nails. I wasn't planning on posting any newer shaped nails but because of the challenge it just so happened this way. From the squared I went to almond ... did that for a week and then was going to cut down but several folks on Facebook and Instagram wanted to see stilettos so back to pointy for a bit!
Billet Doux means Sweet Letter or "Love Letter" and boy after I put this on I feel like it wrote me a love letter because I instantly feel in love with it. I did not use any base color for this I just built it up by using 4 very thin coats. I know it sounds like a lot but it was very easy to work with. I used a total of 3 top coats but only really needed two. This polish is spectacular! It may just very well be one of my favorite lynns. It's go so much depth to it and the colors just make me swoon every time i get a glance of my nails. This fuchsia is so intense that sometimes it almost looks like a neon to me or like a hot pink... reminds me of my hot pink mixer!! It's a shame this is a Limited Edition Lynnderella and the only way to get it is through one of the bidding auctions but it's worth keeping an eye out of it because it's spectacular! Here is a link to the Lynnderella Ebay store .
P.S. Check out those blue flecks in the macro shot

ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah! I thought the points would break off right away too when i first did this shape a several months back but since for me it's usually corners that might chip these pointy ones have no corners to chips so they somehow don't break.. we'll see accidents do happen, and if it does i'll just chop down
