My Laptop battery is about to die so I really have to keep this one short since my charger is downstairs... hah forever lazy!!

 I wore this over Cult Nails disciplined. I love everything about this! Multi shaped black glitters with a rainbow mix of micro glitters... man I feel nothing but pure love for this. The biggest surprise for me was finding round and heart shaped black glitters, I bet there's even more shapes in this bottle for me to discover. I'm a sucker for black glitters and this is by far a very unique glitter! You may began the drooling!!

Orly Shimmering Mauve

I wasn't going to post today but I'm pulling myself away from Paper Mario just long enough to throw this post up. But I admit I feel a little chatty tonight... (when am I not chatty? Right?)

So last night I asked my husband to go randomly choose a polish for me to wear. He hates when I ask him because he says I never wear what he picks out and well he's right I've done that to him before and I ended up just going with what I wanted to wear. So I told him I won't wear it if I've already worn it before so he went over and just opened a helmer drawer and pulled something out without looking. He returned with a glitter from the muppets Opi collection and I turned him down since well I'm trying to cleanse the palette a little and back off the glitter. He wasn't happy to have to go again but he did and he pulled out Shimmering Mauve. When I saw it, I basically whined and went ehh it's ugly. So he was like well why did you buy it then. hah well that was a very good question! One that I didn't have an answer for. So I went ahead and panted BOTH hands with this even though I wasn't digging the color. So guess what I've got matching hands today!! pretty rare thing for me lately!

Anyone know what collection this Orly is from? I can't remember and I couldn't find the info online. All I know is that I must have bought it from Sally's on clearance.

 Formula on this was pretty good, super opaque a true one coater, it applies streaky but once it dries and you put your top coat on streaks are not visible. I have to say I was surprised that it's a foil/metallic. I was not expecting that. In the bottle its got that old grandma feel to it but once on the nail it's actually quite stunning! This is one I'd never wear on my own  but I'm glad I got it on my nails! The color is more of a dusty rose to me, with a rusty undertone.  Today the sun was behind clouds all day so I didn't get any sun shots but I figured I had enough pictures to show off this beauty so there you go, Orly Shimmering Mauve. Now back to my other current addiction... Mario here I come!!

         

Lumina Lacquer Love is in the Air

This is what I wore for Thanksgiving Day. It was not very Turkey Day like but it was very fitting as I spent the day working with my Husband fixing up our project house and then we went home and ate dinner with his Parents. So Love was in the Air and Today I decided to post this because it's the day after the end of my giveaway and I feel So much Love in the Air from all my readers that I thought it was only fitting to share it today. You guys shower me with so much love by interacting with me and I love it. I feed off of the energy you guys leave me and I'm so thankful to have such kind people who support me. hah okay Im gonna tone down the love here a little but know that you guys make me all warm and fuzzy inside.

So the polish... This is one of the other Lumina Lacquers I picked up and I put it over Cult Nails Flushed. There is nothing I don't like about it. It's purple with pink hearts... hah I really liked it, in fact the younger preteen me would have killed for something like this!! I like the mix of mini shards in this, really spices it up. I did have to fish out the hearts a little but I like that because it allowed me to really put them where I want instead of having them all over the nail. Swoon it's a dreamy combo!!

Lynnderella Very Pretty Vampire

I wasn't lying about being addicted to wearing Lynnderella polishes lately!! Here we have a look at the new formulation of Very Pretty Vampire. I never got a chance to get it when it was first released so I was glad she brought it back even though it's not the same as the original it was good enough to satisfy my hunger for this lemming. I layered this over Cult Nails Bitten, hah I just couldn't resist since the names of both polishes were meant for each other!! No issues with this one and I did ether 2 or 3 coats I can' remember. Back to Playing 3DS Paper Mario!! I'm surprised I've been able to put the game down long enough to do this post!! So addicting!!

Cult Nails Behind Closed Doors Collection

For those who celebrated Thanksgiving Day I hope you had a great one!! Of Course I'm overstuffed siting here writing this post :) Hooray for Overeating Day!!

Remember how a few weeks back I shared with you guys my Cult Nails Nail Art and how I won some Cult Nails Polishes because of it? Well here's some swatches from some of those goodies I got! This is the newest Cult Nails collection, Behind Closed Doors. 

I've blabbed enough in my last few post that I'm not going to do a major write up on these. The pictures show off the polishes pretty well in my opinion. My only notes on this collection is that they are all on the sheer side and require at least 2-3 coats each.  Formula on all these is great, however Coveted was a little difficult to apply, was a little thick and because of the shards in it it will require an extra top coat or two, but it's still one of the stand outs in this collection for me so don't let that scare you away from it.

Flushed was my favorite, It's purple and oh so dreamy. I also oddly enough really liked Disciplined. The blue shimmer was very pronounced and it just might be the only grey I really like! I enjoyed Bitten and Afterglow, overall This is a great collection! Every single polish is outstanding!  If I had not won them, I would have bought them all because well I can't resist Cult Nails!! 

Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake

I want to start by thanking you guys for all the nice comments on yesterday's post! I love all of you and I'm Thankful to have such awesome people support me!!

One Nutty Fruitcake has been a big time lemming for me for a while and when I got a bottle I felt like bouncing off the walls. Then I stopped and took a look at it and well I wasn't aware that there was a reformulation on it. To be honest I got a little sad because well it just wasn't the same thing I had been lemming since forever! Okay so the super whiney me kicked in and I just felt like whining about it and well the whining consumed me for almost a full day. hah I don't know if you guys know this about me but I love to whine and complain, I'm not sure if that part of my character comes through in my blog but I'd say at least 20% of my character build up is a giant Whine Block.

 I sorta put the whining on hold and then I figured I should wear it and give it a chance maybe I'd feel differently about it. So I had a minor application issue with this one. A few of the larger square glitters weren't as flat as I'd like them to be... in fact a few corners just didn't want to be tamed after several top coat layers . So I went on instagram and I posted a picture and called the polish out as the worst curling offender I've come across... hah yes the whine monster was back on track! Well word trickled down and Paul, aka Lynn's brother contacted me and asked me if I wanted a refund and asked me if I have any problems with one of their polishes to please contact them first so they can try to make it right.... 

I had some mixed emotions about this... First of all woah I made some waves and got noticed, and now I feel like a major jackass because I was actually starting to fall in love with the polish. Face Palm! I wrote back to Paul and let him know I didn't want a refund. Wearing the polish gave me just as much satisfaction if not more than other Lynns I've worn so I felt like I got my money's worth. The way I see it is some polishes are more difficult  to apply than others, Would I buy this one again? Yes! It's not the original formula that I wanted and it caused me to be extra hard on it in the first place but It's so visually stunning that I wore this for several days and I enjoyed the hell out of it.  

So why did I share this with you guys? Just wanted to let you guys know how helpful and quick Paul is. If you haven't had a chance to deal with him on ebay yet you should because he's ships stuff lightening fast and he's quickly responded to all the questions I've bugged him with. I was happy to find out that If I did have a problem with any of the Lynn Polishes I could contact him and he would work with me to make me happy! I didn't realize that before. Also I just love me some good Customer Service!  Makes me feel appreciated! I'm happy to see the Lynnderella Brand expanding more through ebay and I'm happy they are so much easier to buy. Hooray for no more Waiting Lists!!

Oh  one last thing, someone told me a tip they use... if you have a piece of glitter that doesn't want to behave and it's sticking through lightly file it away and reapply your top coat.. problem solved... I can't wait to try that because it happens here and there and that's a neat little trick!

Lynnderella Ghost of a Chance

I want to take a little time out and blab... I've been trying my best to blog more often and I think if you are a frequent reader of the blog you'll notice that I've been posting on almost a daily basis. Besides the amount of work that goes into putting a post together I'm slowly running into the problem that I don't have much left to post about since I'm not changing my nail polish that often. Well I am painting my nails on almost a daily basis but where I run into trouble is when I'm trying to swatch a whole collection. If i try to put them all in one post then i'm losing out on having material to post on since i'm saving it all for a collection post. Sometimes I get lucky and have a great weekend where I have time to do that and the sun is actually out and i can fly through several polishes. If I don't get it done on a weekend then I pretty much  have to swatch a polish a day and then hope that I have some sun the next day. I really make this so much more complicated than it has to be. I love to take pictures in various lighting and sometimes I wish I could just take pictures in a light box and be done with it. I'm so tough on myself that well honestly I didn't really want to post these pictures ghost of a chance because I didn't feel they looked good enough. But since I'm sorta out of pictures this one is up and well they're not as bad as I thought they were in the first place. I know my pictures might not be the best out there but I really try hard to post pictures that to me look great. I am my biggest critic and I just need to get out of my head and not care as much... hah yah right

I also want to address that lately I have been addicted to wearing a lot of Lynnderella polishes and I really would like to have some variety on here but lately my addiction to the glitter is so strong that I have to say I'm sorry if it seems like i'm constantly posting glitters. I will make an effort in the future to change but I have like 3-4 other posts I haven't done yet and well they're all Lynnderella polishes. So know that i'm not trying to torture you guys. Things are pretty hectic for me usually and when I don't have time to do nail art wearing an interesting glitter really scratches the itch for having a more unique manicure. So bear with me while I get past this hump.

Soooo.. Ghost of a chance. I wore Nopi Here we kome a Karoling as my base. I like these two together but I don't feel like I've found that perfect underwear for Ghost of a chance just yet, I tried it over a light blue cult nails polish I had and well I wasn't sure about that one either. For now I give up. This was part of a halloween collection but to me it's got more of an easter feel to it. I suppose it's because it's made up of pastel glitter. I did 2-3 coats. I had no issues with this one. Im all blabbed out. Thanks for letting me get that out of my system! :)

               

Bonus Picture: Right after I just painted the first coat of Ghost of a Chance this buggy landed right in the wet paint!! Let's just say he had a Ghost of chance of surviving... I'm not a bug person but it was tough having to pick this bug off my nail knowing that all it's legs were going to be ripped out of it's body :( 

Lumina Lacquer Secret Rendezvous

Today I've got a look at a pretty new to me brand, Lumina Lacquer. I've slowly started to see this one pop up more and more so I found the online store and bought a few and I'm glad I did. I mean check out how stunning this polish is!! I was wearing Zoya Storm and I layered Secret Rendezvous on top. Honestly I don't think this one even needs a base it's in a black jelly but it builds up nicely. In fact you can't even see zoya storm under there. I used a few coats 2-3 and I gotta say I was in love!! Purple, teal, and silver shards man this must have been made just for me! Here's a link to the Lumina Lacquer site. Zoya Storm

I'm so late posting tonight because I've been driving myself nuts searching for the best price for our new Front Door Handleset. I'm totally getting the keyless entry for the deadbolt even though it's going to cost me more in the end. So yes I've spent the past 3 days searching high and low and I think I've narrowed it down so hopefully i'll buy the damn thing tomorrow... yep I'm crazy and I drive myself insane with purchases like this... that's why I like nail polish it's so much easier to buy!!!

So Zoya Storm... Out of the new winter collection I only picked this one up along with the Aurora. The others didn't grab me like these two did. I don't have anything bad to say about this one. I love the super opaque formula, you could get by with just one coat. I also love the scattered holo effect in this one. It's a little more blingtastic in person. I put this on on as soon as it came in the mail and then the next day i took it off to do some nail art for a concert and then I put it right back on because the one day I wore it the sun was mia. I normally never put a polish back on once I take it off but this one I gladly put back on. It reminds me of snowfall at night. It's a stunner!
