A few months back I jumped on the Juelp Maven Train and tried it out for a month. I even got one of those mystery boxes for 20 bucks. It was my first and last introduction to Julep. I just wasn't digging the colors I got and came to a point where I just didn't have the urge to spend so much on nail polish anymore... gasp! I never thought i'd be there but buying a house made me rethink my priorities. Anyways.... I love me some red so here's a look at Julep Salma. Red tends to be a very difficult color to apply. If I'm not mistaken in order to get your nail tech certificate you have to paint red nails as one of the tests since it's easy to see imperfections! (I hope I didn't just hear that somewhere) I really liked this red and I was very impressed with the formula since it gave me lots of control, The manicure below I didn't even use a clean up brush! Believe me it's very rare that that ever happens, let alone with such a bold red.

I picked this up at Ulta it was on sale but not really since I still ended up paying 5 bucks for it, It was one of those I've walked around the whole store and I wanna leave with something deals. I've never noticed this color before which is odd since Teal is one of my favorite colors. This is now hands down the best Teal in my collection. It's got that super squishy feeling to it without being a true jelly. This is also the base color I was wearing before used Lynnderella's The Bunny Code Polish I shared in my last post.
This is a such a great color I wore it forever which brings me to the only negative thing about this polish.... when I finally did take it off I had some staining. Not massive amounts but more than usually. But hey blues and greens are the worst offenders and well this color is the perfect in between of blue and green.

So I pretty much gave up on owning any more Lynnderella Polishes, I'd love to buy more but it seems near impossible to be able to buy them. So I was messing around on Facebook in one of the nail polish groups I'm part of and I saw someone was wanting to trade a bottle of The Bunny Code and I was like woah what the heck I've never heard of it so I started to do a crazy search to find swatches and while doing that i found out that The bunny code is a limited edition 100 bottle batch that Lynnderella made for a Rabbit Rescue. Here is a link if you are interested http://www.friendsofrabbits.org/tbc_donation.htm... Basically I donated some money and I won a bottle. You have no idea how over the moon I was when i received an e-mail from Friends of Rabbits letting me know I won a bottle. Check them out because it is for a good cause and who knows you might get lucky!! (Once they run out of bottles they will update their site)
Once the bottle arrived I could not wait to put it on, I was already wearing Orly's Green with Envy which is a nice Green Teal so I tore open the box and painted my nails. This is two coats. The polish is super glitter heavy that it was pretty much opaque in just two coats. It doesn't seem to be as catchy as some of the other lynnderella's I own but the longer I wore it the more I feel in love with it. It almost has this glowing effect and the colored glitter reminded me of hidden easter eggs in grass so the name is totally fitting for this stunning green beauty! So Happy I was able to snatch this up!
