When I first got the OPI Skyfall collection for review I came across the Bond Manicure and I wanted to cry because I had just cut my nails and I had no free edge on my nails so I couldn't do it. Fast Forward a few months to now and I'm glad to be finally rocking this look. It's similar to the Louboutin Manicure where the nails are black and then red on the undersides but here you have Opi Skyfall on top which is a brick red creme and OPI Golden Eye on bottom. This is the manicure that was featured in the James Bond Skyfall Movie. I like this look however Golden Eye is not the best polish for painting on the backsides of your nails. My two main reasons are: it's not opaque in one coat so you have to keep going back and reapplying polish... not ideal. Second its one of those polishes where the gold flecks in the polish tend to get everywhere so it's a bit messy to deal with. It's a neat manicure but in the end the gold sorta just looks messy and like your nails are dirty. I've tried the Louboutin Manicure and it's just got a more classic and clean look to it. I do love these two colors together and I'm gonna go throw some OPI Man with the Gold Gun on top of this because I really need more gold to make this manicure more festive! So look out for that post tomorrow! I'm not looking forward to removing the gold from under the nails I know it's gonna be a mess, but hey no guts no glory!!

Get Bonded with OPI’s Bond Manicure for Holidays, as seen on Skyfall’s Bond Girl Bérénice Marlohe
For sexy, sophisticated nail designs this holiday season, OPI launches Get Bonded, a set featuring three lacquers from the Skyfall Collection, to get the Bond manicure, as seen on Bérénice Marlohe in the latest James Bond installment. With Skyfall, a rich maroon, painted on top of the nail and GoldenEye, a shimmering gold, painted on the undersides, Marlohe’s luxurious manicure offers a glamorous final touch to any holiday look. Get Bonded also includes The Spy Who Loved Me, which can be worn instead of Skyfall for a vibrant red nail.
“The Bond manicure is the hottest look of the season,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Inspired by the film’s blend of elegance and danger, this manicure looks like a timeless classic at first glance, but has an unexpected twist. If your nails aren’t long enough to wear Bérénice’s manicure, I suggest wearing either shade with GoldenEye painted along the tip or moon for a pop of shimmering color, or layering one coat of GoldenEye over either The Spy Who Loved Me or Skyfall for a multi-faceted, glittering look.”
As with all OPI nail lacquers, Get Bonded lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application.
This limited edition promotion will be available beginning November 2012 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $19.95 ($24.95 CAN) suggested retail for each set.
