Today I've got a look at Zoya's Newest collection: The 2012 Spring True Collection. This Collection is now available for sale on their website.
A yellow toned nude with a hint of delicate shimmer. This one makes my nails feel very crisp and clean. Out of all the nude colors I own by Zoya this one so far is the closest to my favorite nude.
First thought I had when I put this one on was Liquid Khakis in a Bottle! I'm not a big fan of Khakis but I gotta say I didn't hate this color. I'll file this one under "work appropriate".
This Green is a must have! To me it's a mix of aquafresh mint with a seafoamy sage green. With all the drama I had going on I ended up wearing this one for about ten days, I gotta say this one is worth wearing for that long. It's a pretty standard cream polish but nothing is standard about this color. It's a compliment magnet and the wear on it was outstanding hardly any wear on it after so many days. The color is so refreshing. This was one of my stand outs in the collection.
A dusty blue with sliver and gold shimmer flecks. This one sorta reminds me of a jazzed u Marina from the Mirrors collection. I usually don't care for blues but this one surprised me I really enjoyed it. My favorite thing about it was the shimmer, in the bottle the shimmer is rather muted but on the nail it comes alive.
When I first saw the True Collection polishes I thought to myself the two to get in this collection are gonna be the purples. Well I like this color but I don't Love it. To me it's a rather faded dusty purple and the pink/gold shimmer while very pretty just didn't stand out enough on the nail for me to like it. It left me wanting more.
I feel similar about this one as I do about Lotus. Except for that the base color appeals to me more. It's got a different shimmer in it more of a orange/red/gold shimmer It's pretty but once again rather muted on the nail.
