Yesterday I did a guest post for Jeanie at Midnight Manicures. It was my first time doing a guest post so it was pretty fun doing it. She asked that it be nail art related so I got to work and came up with a quick and easy Sponging Floral Step by Step. Go Check it out!

After sharing with you guys the last Tarte QVC Today's Special Value really late I wanted to make sure I showed you guys the newest Special Value that you can still buy!! It's going to Air on QVC on July 2nd. If you are thinking about getting it I would recommend you go ahead and pre-order it because I have a feeling they are going to sale out once this baby airs. So I pre-ordered it and it came yesterday and I have to say I ripped that box open like my life depended on it : ) I'm glad I ordered this with the Auto Delivery! When you get Auto Delivery you get another shipment in about 3 months and it's usually the same set but with different seasonal colors. Plus you lock in the Price from The TSV.
No complaints about this set everything here is consistent with other Tarte products I've used. These are all Highly Quality Products at an outstanding price! I know I will be getting a lot of use from each item in this set.
Seriously look at all the products you get!! Plus you get an amazing make up bag to put it all in and it's a really nice one! Tarte Really outdid themselves with this Set!
A closer look at the eye liner(okay maybe one issue with the set, I'm not a huge fan of the fat eyeliner but I am glad they put this one in here so I could try it), lip color and the eye shadow. I could not wait to dig into these, literally!
The free deluxe sample Bronzer in Park Ave Princess on the left and the Amazonian Blush on the right in Peaceful.
From Left to right: Concealer in Light, Bronzer, Eyeliner in Fig, Cream Shadow in Shimmering Taupe, Lipsurgence in Sweet and Blush in peaceful
Here's the whole look together!
The only other items I used that weren't in the set was the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation and Urban Decay's eye shadow potion
I still can't believe that I got such an amazing eye look with just one cream eye shadow! Quick and Easy!
Here's a bonus pic of your goofy Manicure Addict in action! hah the hair is down and the claws are out!
This is what the future shipments will look like if you get the Auto Delivery for this set, I found these on the QVC website.

Two lovely ladies tagged me within the last week or so for some awards and I wanted to shout back to them to thank them for these awards the first award is from Kimberly from Libby's Pink Vanity. She nominated me for The Top Ten Award! I'm honored to get this award. The 2nd Award is from Josse from Pink Beauty . She gave me the Stylish Blogger Award. This is an award I've been given in the past but I am still excited to receive it again!
Here's how it plays:

2.Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal (girls this is just a must! glad i was able to find a natural deodorant without Alum in it that actually works!)

Since i've gotten this award before I will just copy and paste the info from last time I got it since i'm sure a lot of you might have missed it : )
So these are the rules to the Award:
1. Thank and link the person who gave it to you
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself
Give the Award to 15 other bloggers and let them know about it
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself
(once again i'm gonna skip this part )
Ok here are my seven facts:
1. Both of my parents are from Poland. So that makes me a Polish Polish Addict!
2 I was born in Sun Valley California (I'm a Valley Girl!!) and we moved cross-country to SC when i was 2 yrs old (Ahem.. make that a Southern Valley Girl)
3. I have 4 Brothers and i'm the middle child.
4. I'm very picky and it is very difficult to buy me gifts, but now with this nail polish addiction it shouldn't be too hard, especially now that i have a list of the polishes i own up as a guide to what not to buy since i already own it (*hint hint)
5 My Husband does not show any interest in checking out my blog nor does he know the name of my blog so sadly for me #4 will not apply. His Thought is why should i look at your blog when i have the real deal here. He's a sweetheart!
6 I've had other addiction/hobbies/collections through the years, but none of them have been as bad as the polish , money wise. here's a few examples shoes, rumber stamps, postage stamps, redoing my closet/clothing, necklaces, water globes, cake decorating, cooking, pogs, hah okay you get the picture.
7. not sure what to put here... I don't want to end on a sad note but a very important fact about me is that i love my dog Honey. Honey is my little brown Chihuahua whose 13. I've had her since she was a lil pup. I was in my mid teens when my mom bought her and when i moved i stole her from my mom. She's my little dog child, she thinks she's a human and loves to sleep with us in bed under the covers with her head on my pillow She has a bad heart and is currently on 4 different medications. I used to have her son Lucky but he passed away last year after a 4 month battle with Cancer. He was 10.5 years old. I Cherish all the time i get to spend with Honey and hope that whatever time we have together will continue to be amazing. . Just thought i'd share that with you guys since it has been rather stressing on me.
I know i should tag some other bloggers here but i will pass because a lot of the ones i like i feel have already been tagged so i will be horrible and not do that but i do enjoy new blogs so if you have a blog out there and you don't think i've seen it send me a link i'll look at it and even follow if i like it. hah alright i've done enough damage for one post.
If you got through this whole post i'm surprised because i really love to ramble, (i threw that little fact in as a bonus)!!

This is one vibrant color and sometimes I felt like it was really loud even for me. Overall a really fun color to wear. It's a true Turquoise/Teal if there is such a thing. It's much greener and darker in real life than the pictures show. Just one of those colors that the camera has a hard time capturing(heh yes I'm gonna blame the camera not me). This is a color I've always enjoyed, my husband says it's because I'm Polish. When he lived in Chicago he said he had a lot of Polish friends and they all loved Teal. heh I guess I can't help it if it's in my blood : ). I had one lady stop me in the middle of whole foods telling me how much she loves my nails and this color, and the necklace I was wearing which is in the pics below. She really caught me off guard but in a good way. The color is considered a neon and it does dry matte. I did put a top coat on this because it just looked better with one in my opinion. I believe all the pics are with a top coat on, but I can't remember. Application was so so on this one only because this baby is sheer and took a few coats to build up the color. That's the bad part about shades like this when you find them the majority of them are sheer. I do have a few in my collection that are more opaque but this is not one of them.

So About a week ago I joined a group on Facebook by the name of Polish-aholics Anonymous and I have to say it's been really fun interacting with the people there. We just started having Nail Art Mondays over there and the first theme was "Polka Dots". Every week there will be a different theme so it should be exciting to see what everyone comes up with. If you are interested in the group you should join, it's a great place to chat with other lacquerheads : ) .
Here's the Link: Polish-aholics Anonymous
So here is what I came up with. Now I did this last night sorta late and I'm on the fence if I like it, I prefer the color combo on my left hand over the right but overall it turned out decent. I really like Red White and Black when their worn together in an outfit so i thought i'd see how it translates to the nails and well it's not as sharp. It's got that sorta playing cards vibe to it but it's still fun.
Happy Monday Guys!
Colors used: Red:Maybelline's Salsa Sun, White: Essie's Marshmallow, Black : China Glaze's Liquid Leather
I really liked the black and white by itself as well
heh it's really hard to take a picture of both hands by yourself!!

Okay so I wrote out this very very long review on this kit and when I went to publish the post it disappeared and now I have to rewrite it and you know when that happens it's never as good as what you originally wrote so bear with me as I try to sum up what I wrote before.
I hate to post this up since it's not something you can get anymore but because this has become something I use on almost a daily bases, I felt that I had to share it with you guys. I bought this from QVC back in March when it was a Today's Special Value. This was my first purchase ever from the Home Shopping world and it became easily one of the best make up purchases i've ever made in my life!! I follow Tarte on Twitter and one of their tweets was that Maureen (founder) was gonna be on QVC so i figured i'd tune in and check it out. The funny part is I called my mom about this kit and she was watching it too. We both picked up a kit. These were selling like hot cakes because they ended up backordered for us and it took like a month before we got them. The wait was well worth it!!
The main reason I was sucked into the kit was the Foundation. I have Oily skin and after a few hours i tend to get really shiny on my forehead and nose. Because the Foundation has Amazonian clay in it it's supposed to help absorb the oil. I admit I was a bit skeptical, but I still had to try it and i figured if it is a dud then there were plenty of goodies in the kit to make up for it. Well the Foundation turned out to be AMAZING!!! I end up using a lot less foundation than I used to, I get full coverage and it's very light feeling. I've never used a brush before to apply foundation so I was a bit iffy on that too but it works great. It give you that airbrushed look and feel. I've even worn this out and sweated like a fool in it and once I got back inside I looked fresh as a daisy! Seriously!! It is also supposed to be good for all skin types not just Oily. I would highly recommend you try this foundation if you get a chance. Right now I believe it is all sold out but they are frantically making more of it. It is exclusive to QVC till the end of July. It's SOLD OUT!! you know what that means?? It's Amazingly Perfect!
Okay my other Favorite standout in the set is the Mascara. I've never used a Mascara where I could put on a 2nd and even 3rd coat without that it's starting to clump and its not really separating the lashes feeling. Because of this you can increase the sizes of your lashes some crazy 400%. Besides the performance of the mascara which I believe is like a multiple award winner for Tarte, I liked how when I take the mascara off it's not pulling out any lashes with it. I stopped using other Mascaras I thought I liked because this one out performs them.
This kit was my first time using Tarte Cosmetics, I've been wanting to try it before but I never got around to it and I feel like kicking myself for it because this make up is such a high quality product that is all natural and actually good for you. After using this kit I went back to QVC and changed my order to Auto Delivery and then I bought a few other Tarte items (yes this means i'll have more reviews). Before starting the blog I honestly did not wear that much makeup but now I own a lot of make up and I'm wearing a lot more of it and it makes me feel good knowing how good the Tarte line is for my skin.
So one of my main reasons for posting this is to let you guys know that QVC will be having another Tarte Special Value in July and you can preorder it now. Its not the same as this kit but it is still a crazy good value. Here's the link Tarte Glow your way to Gorgeous 8 pc Collection . Yes I have already preordered this myself!! One last thing I wanted to say, I bought these items with my own money and no no one is paying me for this review I just really want you guys to be aware of Tarte's Amazonian Clay Products since They have been a game changer for me and my make up routine.
Glisten blush ( a peachy-pink shimmer blush) I've also used this as eye shadow it's soooo pretty!
The Eye Shadows are : Dark Brown, Light sand, Shimmering Bronze and Shimmering Plum
From Left to Right: Gold Plum eye liner, Dark Brown, Light Sand, Shimmering Bronze, Shimmering Plum, Glisten, and Golden Pink Lipgloss
Close up of Eyes
I'm not kidding when I say I use this make up A LOT , here's me from another day and as before I have some other lip gloss on. This is my go to make up for a quick and easy everyday natural look!
Thanks for reading !

In case you weren't aware today on Hautelook they have Ginger & Liz Nail Polish. Last time around i picked up Take a Chill Pill and I'm glad i did since it is so Amazing!! Today is also the last day of Smashbox Cosmetics so check it out if you haven't!
Okay so after stamping with the Konad Red Wine color in the last post I really enjoyed that shade of "Blood red". I decided to cover it up all the way with Essie's Lacy not Racy. I picked this up at Trade Secret for 2 bucks. I painted this right over my last manicure. This is 3 coats. This is spot on for what i think of when i think of blood. So whose excited about the new season of True Blood starting up soon?? I know i can't wait. I just finished up the the newest Sookie Stackhouse book that came out so i've got Blood on my mind. okay i'm going off track here , hahah. okay okay this polish is great, it's a perfect vampy shade and it looks different depending on what light you're around it goes from a semi bright red to looking almost blackish. it's a jelly type polish so you'll have to put a few coats but it's worth it.
'"natural light" once i removed the polish i wanted to see if it would look any different if i did not layer it on top of another polish and well yes it looked the same except there was a slight Visible Nail line if you really looked closely.
"artificial light" same thing here this is at least 4 coats directly on the nail with no polish under it. crazy how this polish goes from looking like a crazy red to almost black depending on the lighting!

Lately I seem to have issues with getting the stamping to look right, here's a perfect example of how much I suck at stamping. Hah! I took a brush to this to try to "Fix" it and well it's just a hot mess. I used Konad Special Polish in Wine Red. I prefer the smaller stamps as opposed to the full nail stamps they seem to work better for me.
That's it for now, hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week.

I'm BAAACCKK! So my computer decided to turn on for me so I could share with you guys a look at Essie's Mamba. I was looking for a nude color and somehow out of the many polishes I own, this one seemed as close as i would get but honestly it's not quite right. I'll have to do another search since it's a tad too dark and leans towards a light milk chocolate. So I can't consider it a true nude for me. Nudes seem to be all the rage right now and I can't say i'm a big fan. I didn't help that my husband couldn't stop laughing saying i had mannequin hands, heh He's a goober. I did not like this at first but after day or so when i was getting ready to change colors i started to see it in another light and decided to keep it on for a while longer. It's a very good palette cleanser after some of the more crazy colors i've been wearing.
A side note, yes my nails are shorter than the last post, I chipped one of the squared corners on the steering wheel and decided to take then down even shorter. So even though i've been used to the very long rounded nails, squared nails are a different animal and i've had to be more careful with them. Overall really happy with the newer length and shape.
Loving how well this shade goes with the flower!
