I don't usually go out of my way to buy nail polish that is umm pricey. Especially when I'm buying it at full retail price but when I saw pictures of this one online I knew I was going to have to hunt this one down. And a hunt it was! When I first tried to buy it and they didn't have it the lady at the Chanel counter was like overly dramatic and said "uhhhh it's CHANEL baby of course you'll be back" heh the way she said it I swear she sounded like she had a few to many to drink! At 26 and some change after taxes I am glad I broke down and bought it because this baby is worth every penny I spent on her. After all "It's Chanel"(hahahah)! One little bottle so much joy!
Okay application wise this one was pretty good I did not have issues with it being streaky but maybe a little thicker than I would have liked in fact next time I ever use this I'll add a few drops of a thinner. This was opaque in two coats but I used three. Compared to the other Chanels I have this was seemed like a much better formula. I've been wearing it now for almost 3 days and I haven't had any issues with chipping. Overall this is a lovely duo-chrome that will look good in any nail polish collection. She constantly changes colors on the nail and does not disappoint.
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking!
This is the best representation of what it looks like most of the time.
While I was talking a shower I just loved how the water droplets looked on the nail so I had to recreate it. hah water herpes!
This is the only picture where I used the flash. The flash transforms it into an interesting rustic golden color but this color does not really appear on the nail normally, just with the flash.
