I never thought I would own this polish, I've been stalking it on Ebay for quite some time and I never thought it was reasonable to pay the price it was going for, that is until i saw one auction where it was 2 for $106.00, with shipping. For $53.00 a bottle I caved in. If you have been wanting this beauty check out Ebay now, there are several on there for decent prices. The cheapest I've seen on there today was 60 w/shipping. When they came in the mail I was still wearing DL's Bad Romance, I couldn't wait I just painted it right on top. I enjoyed the random specks of purple glitter underneath 230, made it more interesting. 230 is a very sheer color and it would prob take a good 4-5 coats to build up the color so it's best to layer it on top of another color so you don't end up using all of your polish up too soon.
I really enjoyed this color because it's so unique with color sparkles from red, orange to green. It was always exciting. I am looking forward to layering it on top of a lighter color next time. So don't be surprised if you see another 230 post in the near future. One word to describe this polish : PERFECTION!!
I'll let the pictures Speak for themselves...

ReplyDeleteOkay that's a super fabulous color and I'm a crazy beauty addict that can drop hundreds at Sephora without breaking a sweat but $50 for NAIL POLISH?! Girl that's cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs! I have a hard time with Deborah Lippmann or Butter at $18 a pop. (Though I just HAD to get Lippmann's Glitter in the Air-it's gorgeous) I would have at least searched for a dupe. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'd buy it again in a heart beat! there is no dupe for this magical stuff. i have to say once i bought this it really filled a void i had in my heart. I know i hate spending double digits on polish but it happens from time to time.
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute, is my draem.

I would have taken the chance and paid that also for 2 bottles. You always have PP to back you up if you get a faked one. I only have had 1 seller send me polish that was fake out of all I have bought on eBay. These had no stickers on the bottle (OPI) and she wrote and old me she 'knew' what color they were because the place she bought them had them in buckets with sticks saying what shade they were. But her ad did not say pink OPI with no name, She sold the 2 I got from her as the actual shade. They smelled horrible when I opened them and were thin as water. PP had my $ back to me in less than 20 mins and did not make me send them back to the seller which surprised me.
ReplyDeleteOMG beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just found a very close dupe, I'm so excited!! Hard Candy Beetle! Looks verrrrry similar! And only $4 a bottle!
ReplyDeleteUmmm can you cut your nails please? If not for yourself, then for everyone else sake.
ReplyDeleteMy nails are short now... this post is from over a year ago, plus long or short they're my nails if you don't like don't look
